Originally painting in the early nineties. I still have this painting.
I was never really happy with the way this one turned out then.
So I decided to rework this one, as I do with a lot of my paintings.
Artists Rule: Don't touch a painting after you have finished it.
I don't know how many times I have heard that!.
Kylie's Rule: That artists rule is an easy rule to break, Most Artists end up signing a piece even when they are not happy that they have actually finished it.
So with painting I never finished it as with most of my art. They sit on the walls and I look at them for years, I plan what would make it look better. It is still not where I'd like it to be. Maybe in a another ten years I'll pull her off the wall and do some more on her. Why? just because I can.
She is hanging in my kitchen!
